Eric Clapton was awesome!
80s Kids would be appearing soon once his oriental rug was in place on the stage. The magic began as soon as he ambled out on stage and the guitar was in place. Our favorite part was the "unplugged" acoustic portion of the set, a classic 80s Kids. He always transitioning on guitar from song to song with rare moments of silence when he switched guitars and an occasional "Thank You" thrown in, mixed some of the fan favorites (Layla, Cocaine, Wonderful Tonight) with some of the blues (Old Love, Runnin' on Faith). He has always been a part of my music collection from my college days with 461 Ocean Boulevard to the Best of Cream, Unplugged, and many more. The old favorites were offered some variety by the back-up singers, a nice addition. A wonderful evening--we were not disappointed.
